That'll Learn 'Em a Lesson

It's so nice to see that parts of our country still believe that corporal punishment is a good idea. Seriously, it is 2006 and some parts of the US still think it's 1606. Is it so hard to fathom that using violence to punish violence is non-sensical and detrimental? It is more than a bit ironic that the same people who rail against the evils of the public schools and its teachers are the same folks who support teachers paddling their kids. We truly live in bizarro world.
