I lost my appetite reading that. Talk about "Girls With Low Self Esteem"....
Exactly.. we have become a society so enthralled with exposure and our fifteen minutes of fame that we are willing to do anything to get it. It is especially sad to see young women engaging in such activities, because they are not owning their sexuality, they are giving it away to the man. Though it may look different from the outside, it is still succumbing to the patriarchy.
I do not think enough has been made of this issue as undermining women's advancement. And, what has been said about it tends to come from Right Wing zealots and anti-porn crusaders. I think that one can be pro-sexual and still find GGW and others of that ilk to be harmful to women.
